Happy Mother’s Day!

From this mom, to all my readers who are mothers, a heartfelt Happy Mother’s Day! My day started with my 9-year old waking me up at 7 am to get up and help her make me my breakfast in bed! Some beautiful handmade gifts, a bowl of granola and a coffee later, I’m just sitting here enjoying chatting with MY mother and looking out over our gorgeous, budding garden. Birds are chirping, my dog, Daisy, is chasing away squirrels, chomping on her squeaky ball to prove the point. A glorious day.

And to all you single dads out there, wearing both the mother and father hat, I hope you enjoy today as a second Father’s Day (I always declare Father’s Day as my second Mother’s Day)!
