Don’t know if it was the 5 or 6 posts bashing Prescription Solutions over their inability to deliver test strips for my diabetic mother for over 7 weeks that got them here…finally…on Friday. Might have been the open letter to Barack Obama. Perhaps my complaint on the health reform mandate query sent out by Barbara Boxer’s virtual team. Or maybe they just got tired of Corinne, my mother, calling them every day for days on end. You know the expression: “The squeakier the wheel the more oil it gets.” Maybe one of the customer service (or customer avoider) reps just developed a conscience and overruled the rules. I don’t know. But the test strips arrived. They work. My mother can, once again, monitor her blood sugar levels. Miraculous.
