You are what you eat…or are you?

‘Baby Boomers Get Smart about Digestive Health’ The National Association of Baby Boomer Women (NABBW), the only association devoted to addressing issues concerning the 38-million boomer women demographic [and I’m one of them], announces its first 2009 teleseminar, “Get Smart about Digestive Health.” The FREE teleseminar is on Wednesday, January 28th at Noon P/T, 3pm E/T. , and as a service to Baby Boomers everywhere, this teleseminar is open to the public.

Carolyn O’Neil, MS, RD, a registered dietitian, award-winning food and health journalist, and co-author of, “The Dish on Eating Healthy and Being Fabulous,” will discuss topics such as a comparison of products on the market today that tout digestive benefits, how getting adequate fluid on a daily basis is important for optimal digestive health, and how functional foods do more for your body than just provide basic nutrients.

There will also be a discussion about the common misconceptions about fiber and constipation [hmm….what does that mean about prunes?]

To participate in the FREE teleseminar, please register at http://www.nabbw.com/display_news.php?nid=12

You should get a confirmation email, but here is the call in number: 712-580-7706; and conference code: 4825560
